Ice Palace

The Palais de Glace, also known as the National Palace of the Arts, is located in the elegant Recoleta neighborhood. It occupies a building dating back to 1910, which originally served as a 21-meter diameter ice rink. Later, it transformed into a ballroom before becoming one of the most important museums in the city.

Today, the Palais de Glace is a national historical monument and one of the most visited places by both tourists and local art enthusiasts. It offers an active program of exhibitions, concerts, and art films. Its artistic heritage consists mainly of the major awards and first prize acquisitions from the national salon.
